Don't know if its intentional but you have 2 search boxes on your home pages left nav
Yes, it is intentional
To showcase the theme's integrated search box and also make sure there is a search box available even when the theme you are browsing doesn't support it.
I figured it wouldn't hurt to have redundant search boxes.
